Description
Durham University Orchestral Society, comprising Durham University Symphony Orchestra and Durham University Chamber Orchestra, is the university’s premier orchestral society and is managed entirely by students of the university. DUOS has links with several professional orchestras and our members have been privileged in recent years to receive coaching from players from the Northern Sinfonia and the BBC Symphony Orchestra. Auditions are held for all players at the beginning of each academic year for entry to either one or both of the orchestras.
