Description
The Mooting Society exists to promote the art of oral legal argument through the familiarisation of mooting rules and procedures. We aim to hold regular workshops and to provide entry into mooting competitions throughout the year as well as offering a full programme of guest speakers to inform you about life at the bar and encourage students to pursue the bar as a career in later life.
This year we plan to expand the number of Inter Varsity Moots which we participate in, including the prestigious ESU - Essex Court Chambers and OUP National Mooting competitions, as well as continuing to hold our own Durham University Mooting Competitions (Novice and Palatinate Cups).
