Description
DULOG is the largest musical theatre society in Durham, having been established over fifty years ago. Each year the society gives students the opportunity to be involved in a range of shows, from Gilbert and Sullivan to West End hits, in venues such as the Gala Theatre and The Assembly Rooms, the Universitys own theatre. Students can become involved in every aspect of DULOG production; developing performance skills, as musicians in the band, or as part of a production team: directors, producers, choreographers and technical crew are all drawn from the student body. DULOG has a reputation for producing exceptionally high standard entertainment within the University and town, whilst fostering the talent of individuals. Many former members have gone on to study at top drama schools and have subsequently become accomplished professional performers.
