Description
The Durham University Go Club is a forum for the enjoyment, improving and discussions of playing Go. It holds playing and training sessions weekly, in the evenings and at lunchtime, open to members and non-members alike. Go has a history of several thousand years, beginning in Asia and then flourishing in Japan, before travelling all over the world. It takes the simple elements of a board and different stones, mixes them with simple rules and creates an elegant and challenging game for two players.
