Description

 

Durham University Engineering Society exists to promote and encourage interest in and understanding of Science and Engineering to the whole University. It seeks to broaden the horizons of its members, primarily through careers presentations and industrial visits. DUES will organise practical activities and develop links with organisations and institutions to broaden the Engineering knowledge and skills of its members. DUES also organises social events to help foster a strong community spirit for those with an interest in Science and Engineering.

Sam is a second year general engineering student. As Secretary, his role is to keep track of all of the goings on within the Society, and keep you, the members, informed of all the events we have organised. Currently the role also encompasses printing and distributing publicity.
