Description
The conservation society meets up most weekends to carry out a wide range of conservation tasks including tree planting, hedge laying, shrub Clearance and habitat management. We work with many organisations based at nature reserves in and around county Durham. We have regular socials and wildlife events, and we also aim to run a residential each term. In all, it’s a great way to get out of Durham, breathe some fresh air, do something practical and meet new people…and it looks good on the CV.
