Description
The Durham University Brass Band is a vibrant society committed to showing the university the meaning of banding! Based in the Music department, we rehearse every Tuesday evening and aim to perform on several occasions during each term. Except for certain positions, the band is non auditioning, promoting the ethos of inclusion and welcoming players of all abilities. We play a wide variety of music from the traditional ‘Pomp and Circumstance’ to pieces written by our own players. We are a friendly bunch of people and with regular socials and the obligatory post rehearsal drink. You’ll feel right at home!
