Description
The Durham University Anthropology Society aims to provide fun and challenging social and academic events for students with an interest in anthropological issues and methodology. The society intends to forge links between the main campus Anthropology course and the Human Sciences degree based at Queen’s campus, by running cross-campus socials and academic lectures, and by encouraging students and lecturers from each course to impart their knowledge to members of the other campus. However, many of our activities will require no previous knowledge of anthropology – we would like to welcome students from a range of courses to learn more about anthropology and its relevance to everyday life.
