Description
The Alternative Music Society (altsoc) promotes gigs and alternative music nights in Durham, Newcastle, and the surrounding area. We give you an up to date listing of every gig happening everywhere and we'll even organise a bus to take you and your mates there. As a society, we meet up for parties, bar crawls and all kinds of great social events, where you can meet droves of lovely people. We organise regular gigs and DJ nights to give you musical relief from the cheesy Durham nightlife. Everyone is welcome, all music tastes celebrated, and even those of you with no taste will be taken under our wing!
