LGBTA
The LGBTA is a DSU association for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans
people at Durham University, we focus on providing welfare and social
events for LGBT people and anyone else that wants to socialise with
LGBT people (so if you're just questioning your sexuality or maybe
want to come along with a friend then you're very welcome.)
We run regular socials on mondays (usually in the DSU Riverside Cafe
from 8pm) and extra events throughout term. The best way to keep up to
date with everything that's going on is to get on the mailing list,
just drop us an email to lgbta@dur.ac.uk with the title "mailing list"
asking to be added and you'll get weekly updates of all socials and
other info you might find useful.
Anyone who wants to get in contact with us to use our welfare service
can just send us an email to lgbta@dur.ac.uk or come down to our drop
in hours that run during the week, check the website for details.
If you just want to come down to our drop in hours for a chat then
that's fine, but we've also got some helpful information about a load
of LGBT related things and can help to put you in the right direction
if there's something specific you're looking for. We provide
information on sexual health and free sex supplies for anyone who
wants them (we can send these supplies up to you in college if you
send us an email).
