Palatinate

Palatinate is the Durham University student newspaper and is one of Britain's biggest student newspapers. It was named NUS/Independent Student Newspaper of the Year in 2001. Notable former editors include George Alagiah, Hunter Davies, Piers Merchant, Timothy Laurence, Jeremy Vine and Harold Evans.

 

Palatinate is published by Durham Students' Union with elected editors. Published fornightly, it reports on University related news as well as comments, features and sport. All students are encouraged to submit to the paper their news stories and features.
