DSU is your Union. It represents you, campaigns on issues that you feel strongly about, provides services such as the Advice Centre and supports over one hundred societies, publishes a newspaper and airs a radio station. We also have a shop, selling daily newspapers for 25p, a bar with the best balcony in Durham and regularly host some of the biggest events in the city. All this and more happens under one roof, in Dunelm House!

At the DSU AGM (Monday 15th, 3PM) we will be elected exec and non-exec officers for the next year. There are many different positions up for election
Being a DSU officer is good fun, you learn lots of interesting stuff about the university and develop skills that you could never learn in lectures. Hopefully you will also contributing to making Durham a better university for the students. You can talk to any of the sabbaticals, next year's sabbaticals or current officers about being on exec and what it involves.
National Student Housing Survey
Durham Students' Union is once again participating in the National Student Housing Survey which is being run by Red Brick Media Group. In an effort to monitor and improve housing standards for all students we are inviting you to take part in this year's National Student Housing Survey. The results will help us to monitor the standard of housing available and improve conditions for future occupants. In addition, completing the survey automatically enters you into a prize draw to win an exclusive Nintendo Wii VIP Bundle worth up to £500.
The survey is easy to complete and should take around 4 minutes.

Durham Students' Union - Student Feedback Survey 2009

DSU Marketing recently carried out a Student Feedback Survey to find out exactly what you want us to be doing for you. The DSU organises and runs your clubs and societies, your support services and representation, your bars and shops and much more. We received an excellent response with over 2,000 replies. Further survey results will be published soon.
